The Mahaska County YMCA is now accepting applications for a full-time Food Service Staff member to join our Early Learning team. This role plays a key part in supporting the nutritional health, safety, and daily routines of the children in our care. We’re looking for someone dependable, caring, and committed to creating a positive experience for every child.

What You’ll Do:
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks in alignment with YMCA standards and health regulations
• Support the nutritional well-being and safety of all children enrolled in our child care program
• Model healthy habits, positive behavior, and the YMCA core values of honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring
• Collaborate with the Early Learning Director to maintain a welcoming, safe, and high-quality environment for children and families
• Demonstrate leadership and teamwork in all aspects of food service operations
