Job Title: Receptionist

SUMMARY
Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer phones and directing to proper departments.
- Greet visitors, customers, contractors, etc. in reception area.
- Make sure that all plant visitors sign in and out.
- Responsible for having all plant visitors read and sign SQF policy and maintaining annual file.
- Responsible for mailing overnight packages.
- Checking mailbox daily and distribution of each department’s mail and packages.
- Set up all job jackets for the Production department.
- Scan job jackets.
- Assist other departments in any projects needed.
- Keeping reception area and conference room neat and tiding.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 6 months on the job training.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to complete reports and forms associated with the position: Ability to communicate effectively orally, and in writing.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusion. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
