Accountabilities:
  • Drive revenue growth by achieving and exceeding annual sales targets through proactive business development and strategic account management
  • Build, nurture, and expand relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring long-term partnership success and client retention
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and multi-unit collaboration
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle, including pipeline development, forecasting, proposal development, and contract negotiation
  • Lead client presentations, host visits, and represent the organization as a trusted advisor in pharmacology services
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align solutions with client needs, ensuring high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge
  • Mentor and coach team members, sharing best practices and contributing to the development of high-performing sales teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related field; advanced education is a plus
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales or business development within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO industry
  • Proven track record of managing complex sales cycles and closing high-value deals with mid-level and executive stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of the drug development process and pharmacology services landscape
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships and drive account growth
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior leadership
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, including pricing, budgeting, and forecasting expertise
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a global environment and influence diverse teams
