The Pharmacy post graduate year 1 (PGY1) is a Pharmacist in training who provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, clinical services & teaching. The Resident Pharmacist provides services consistent with other services provided by Pharmacists at South County Hospital Healthcare System. Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy. All applicants must apply for this position through the American Society of Health System Pharmacists Residency Program. Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Pharmacist in the State of RI; if not licensed, candidate must be licensed by September of their residency as outlined in their contract. Evidence of above average academic performance & professional society activity. Demonstrated experience with pharmacy computer systems, automated dispensing technology & Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Effective interpersonal & communication skills.
