About This Position
Ensure the overall design, reliability, and performance for aluminum rolling mill facility; Design, develop, and implement maintenance and reliability strategies to optimize equipment efficiency, and minimize downtime and enhance the overall operational reliability of the facility; Coordinate with reliability and maintenance professionals to identify and address equipment issues proactively; Conduct regular equipment assessments and condition monitoring to identify potential failures and design and implement predictive maintenance measures; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance, reduce downtime, and improve overall plant reliability; Develop and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and track reliability metrics, providing regular reports to management; Work closely with the maintenance team to establish effective preventive maintenance plans and schedules based on analyses of key failures; Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting equipment failures and design and implement corrective actions; Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the availability of spare parts and support for critical equipment; Stay abreast of industry best practices, technological advancements, and emerging trends in reliability and maintenance; Oversee the Reliability needs for two departments including prioritizing work to be performed and monitoring the execution of the work; Coordinate scheduling of work to be completed with vendors, suppliers and internal department managers including Maintenance and Operations; Guide and mentor junior engineers, helping them develop skills and integrate into the team through training and support; Independently resolve complex technical issues that arise during a project, using analytical skills and broad engineering knowledge; Contribute to strategic planning by developing and implementing innovative strategies to improve workflow, productivity, quality and project outcomes; and Work closely with other engineers, project managers, suppliers, vendors, and upper management to ensure effective teamwork and communication.
Salary: $94,827-135,000 per year.
Requirements:MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Reliability Engineer, Operations Engineer, or any occupation, job title, position involving design, reliability, and performance of manufacturing processes. Must also have experience in the following: 2 years of professional experience applying reliability engineering methodologies, predictive maintenance techniques, and condition-based monitoring, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and ReliabilityCentered Maintenance (RCM); 2 years of professional experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics, and utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), including SAP PM; 2 years of professional experience working with aluminum manufacturing processes, including rolling mill and continuous casting operations; 2 years of professional experience designing and implementing predictive and preventive maintenance strategies; 2 years of professional experience troubleshooting equipment with industrial automation systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs); and 2 years of professional experience analyzing maintenance and reliability performance metrics using engineering and statistical tools including Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), Rate of Occurrence of Failure, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness and Availability.
