Dump Trailer Technician ( CDL A Driver) at Wind River Environmental LLC – Exeter, Rhode Island

Position Summary:

This position is focused on the operation of a Tri Axel Dump Truck and delivering material to Job site. Duties include picking up and dropping of heavy equipment to work sites and light labor to help install septic systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operates Dump Truck
• Hauls heavy equipment to and from installation work sites
• Physical assistance light labor in the installation process of installing a new septic System including laying drainpipe, Raking out Loam
• Installations
• Providing onsite customer service to Wind River Environmental customers.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be able to work with inspectors, suppliers and associate technicians to get the job done correctly and in the best interest of our customers, while abiding by all codes.
• Must be able to draw simple septic diagrams and be able to read them.
• Ability to understand instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to read and interpret documents including Company policies and procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, maps and road signs.
• Ability to speak, cooperate and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and management.
• Ability to work independently and manage pressure to meet deadlines.
• Basic computer literacy

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $29.00 - $31.00 hourly at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Must hold a Class A CDL with ability and willingness to obtain a tanker endorsement if requested
• Two plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in industry.
• At least 21 years of age
• At least 2 years of professional commercial driving experience (post-school)
• Ability to successfully pass DOT drug screen, medical certification, physical exam and road exams
• Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace
• Must be able to meet physical demands evaluation
• High-School Diploma or equivalent

Work Environment:

You are regularly exposed outside weather conditions, non-hazardous fumes and noise. Must be comfortable working independently. Interaction with customers.
