About This Position

Senior Executive Advisor, Government Strategy & Innovation

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Executive Advisor, Government Strategy & Innovation in the United States.

In this high-impact, customer-facing role, you will serve as a strategic architect for the modernization of government services across the nation. You will partner with senior government executives to navigate complex operational challenges, delivering executive-level advisory services that translate deep insights into actionable modernization roadmaps. As a key driver of the transition toward "Government as a Service" (GaaS), you will leverage AI-driven analysis to redefine how public agencies deliver value to their citizens. You will operate in a senior, autonomous capacity where your engagements materially influence customer retention, long-term growth, and the evolution of cloud-based public sector technology. This is an opportunity to lead at the intersection of public policy and digital innovation within a remote-first, mission-driven environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Executive Strategic Advisory: Serve as a primary trusted advisor to senior government leaders, guiding high-level conversations on governance, performance KPIs, and organizational modernization.

  • Diagnostics & Assessments: Lead comprehensive strategic assessments and operational diagnostics, synthesizing complex data into compelling executive narratives that identify root causes and growth opportunities.

  • AI & Performance Insight: Define baseline performance metrics and leverage AI-driven tools to uncover optimization patterns, turning raw data into actionable decision-enablement insights for agency heads.

  • Product Innovation Loop: Bridge the gap between customer challenges and product evolution by translating real-world government use cases into strategic inputs for the Product and Engineering teams.

  • GaaS Model Enablement: Help operationalize the "Government as a Service" delivery model by standardizing workflows and creating scalable frameworks that reduce time-to-value for strategic customers.

Requirements:
  • Extensive Advisory Background: A minimum of 12 years of experience in government advisory, digital transformation, or senior-level public sector consulting.

  • Executive Presence: Proven track record of engaging with and influencing C-suite or high-ranking government officials with exceptional communication and presentation skills.

  • Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of public sector governance, statutory reporting, and the implementation of KPIs within complex stakeholder environments.

  • Strategic Acumen: Demonstrated success in leading enterprise-level engagements and a strong ability to navigate the nuances of government modernization and SaaS adoption.

  • Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in using data to drive decision-making and an interest in applying AI and emerging technologies to solve traditional public sector bottlenecks.

Benefits:
  • Competitive Compensation: Annual base salary ranging from $200,000 - $250,000, supplemented by a discretionary annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

  • Flexible Work-Life Balance: Remote-first work model with a generous flexible time off policy.

  • Comprehensive Healthcare: Premium medical, dental, and vision plans, including Health Savings Accounts (HSA) with company contributions.

  • Retirement & Financial Security: 401(k) savings plan with a company match, alongside life, accident, and disability coverage.

  • Well-being & Family Support: Access to family planning benefits, employee assistance programs (EAP), and various well-being initiatives.

  • Professional Tools: Business travel insurance and resources dedicated to continuous professional development.
