Responsibilities

At SAM, you’ll play a key role in transforming LiDAR and imagery into precise mapping deliverables that power tomorrow’s infrastructure. You'll support projects across the country and gain hands-on experience with industry-leading tools while learning from experts who are invested in your growth. Key Responsibilities

    Daily processing of geospatial data, including evaluating accuracy and sufficiency, and ensuring compliance to applicable project and industry standards related to aerial mapping productsClassification of LiDAR point cloudsCompilation of mapping features from LiDAR point cloudsCompilation of mapping features from orthophotographyOther duties as assigned



Qualifications
Eagerness to advance and grow in a geospatial career and a strong commitment to making significant contributions to the teamStrong work ethic and work history, demonstrated integrity, and personal accountability for contributing to the team's successExcellent computer and technical skills, including MS Office SuiteElectric Transmission experience preferredMicrostation and TerraSolid experience is highly preferredStrong listening, writing and verbal communication skillExperience with any of the following is preferred:
CADGISSpreadsheetsOrthophotographyLiDAR Point Clouds (highly preferred)LiDAR Classification (highly preferred)Mapping from LiDAR or Imagery (highly preferred)
