About This Position

Role Overview:

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Coordinator to support our team in the management of workstreams, execution of tasks, optimization of processes, and cross-team coordination related to EPR compliance and circular economy initiatives. As a key member of our national program planning and operations (PPO) team, you will support objectives to reduce waste and increase recycling including materials strategy implementation, circular economy data and analytics, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Program Support

  • Assist with the coordination and implementation of various programs and projects aimed at supporting producers in compliance with EPR laws including action and progress tracking
  • Create and manage work plans and lead key work streams both internally and with external vendors, as applicable
  • Track and highlighting performance metrics, trends, and areas for improvement
  • Provide general administrative support to the PPO team where needed

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and find synergies between internal teams such as data & analytics, materials management, and EPR compliance efforts
  • Coordinate and run meetings, manage agendas with strategic focus, and track essential actions to help deliver on company goals and compliance requirements

Process Optimization

  • Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment amongst objectives and ensure operations adhere to organizational policies and processes
  • Help identify, create, and manage operational processes(both functionally and cross-functionally)to improve efficiency within the team
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills & Competencies

  • Familiarity with corporate sustainability, preferred understanding of EPR and packaging sustainability
  • Basic data analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with CRM software
  • Knowledge of project management principles, techniques, and software
  • Effective cross-functional coordination of resources and meeting timelines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Proactive and results-driven mindset
  • Strong attention to detail

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or institution, or applicable experience (7+ years)
  • 2+ years’ experience in an operations or administrative role

Compensation & Other Information

  • Location: Fully Remote
  • Pay Rate: Based on a variety of factors in accordance with applicable law including the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and experience.
  • Reports To: EPR Manager
