Copy of Medication Aide, Certified at Chadron Community Hospital, Corp. – Chadron, Nebraska

Three 12 hour shifts per week, 7am-7pm. May include weekends/ holidays

Benefited position after 60-day waiting period for FT and PT positions.

Job Summary:

• Passes medications in a sanitary manner, according to facility policy on medicine and according to regulations governing the Provision of Medications by Medication Aids.
• Charts all medications accurately in appropriate place.
• Must provide medications following the fourteen competency standards.
• Assists any resident with minimal care such as: bathing, dressing, making bed, ensuring resident gets to dining room, etc.
• Is aware of resident’s rights. Treats residents with consideration, respect and full recognition of his/her dignity and individuality

Experience:

• No prior experience is needed.
• On the job training.

Education:

• Minimum of 10th grade education.

Licensure:

• Must possess active 40-hour Nebraska Assisted Living Medication Aide License.
• Keep Medication Aide license active and complete yearly competency testing.
• Current CPR certification.
