We are currently looking for a QA Manager in India.This role offers a hands-on opportunity to lead and shape the quality assurance function for complex web-based products in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. You will manage a team of QA engineers, develop and enforce QA standards, and ensure the stability, reliability, and scalability of applications across multiple platforms. The position requires both strategic oversight and direct involvement in test design, execution, and automation initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across geographies, translating business requirements into comprehensive QA processes. Strong analytical thinking, mentorship, and risk management skills are essential. • Lead and oversee functional testing for web-based platforms, coordinating launch and post-launch QA activities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain QA standards, processes, and long-term testing strategies.
• Define KPIs, track QA progress, and communicate results clearly to stakeholders.
• Delegate technical tasks and guide the QA team in execution, mentoring members for skill development.
• Review test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure coverage aligns with requirements and integration points.
• Participate hands-on in test design, planning, and execution, including API and database testing.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies while collaborating on new technologies and tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with leadership of QA teams.
• Strong understanding of automation strategies, frameworks, and tools to improve efficiency.
• Hands-on experience with web technologies, protocols, API testing, and database testing.
• Knowledge of SDLC and testing methodologies, with ability to handle shifting priorities.
• Excellent communication, mentorship, and team collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
• Comfortable working in second-shift hours (12 PM 9 PM IST) to coordinate with global stakeholders.
