Responsibilities:
-Administer emergency medical care, including respiratory, trauma, and cardiac interventions.
-Conduct patient assessments, including drug screenings, vital signs, and specimen collection.
-Perform daily safety walks and weekly site walkthroughs with management.
-Monitor and address slip, trip, and fall hazards; assess lifting techniques, PPE usage, and equipment safety.
-Lead or participate in the site safety committee to support a culture of safety.
-Conduct monthly inspections of AEDs, eyewash stations, burn kits, fire extinguishers, and maintain first aid kits to ANSI standards.
-Track and restock HV safety supplies and equipment.
-Serve as the designated emergency evacuation lead and on-site safety contact.
-Collaborate with leadership to reduce incidents and improve safety practices.
-Ensure ongoing compliance with OSHA, local/state safety regulations, and emergency response procedures.
-Maintain accurate records and perform non-treatment-related filing, documentation, and data entry.
-Document all patient care and interactions in line with medical and safety protocols.
-Promote health and safety awareness through communication and education.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and prepared environment for emergency response.
-Monitor overall worker health and support preventative care initiatives.
Requirements:
-At least one year of EMS/911 experience
-Ability to regularly push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs throughout the work shift.
-Ability to climb without difficulty.
-Ability to frequently stand, walk, handle or feel objects, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in small spaces.
-Ability to talk, hear, and smell while performing job duties.
-Must have a favorable driving record for the past 5 years.
-Must pass detailed Criminal Background, Motor Vehicle Record, and Drug Screen checks.
-Ability to work independently in remote or isolated locations.
-Must have Strong team collaboration skills.
-Knowledge of industry-specific safety procedures (construction, mining, etc.). preferred
Skills and Experience:
-Strong critical thinking and sound decision-making in high-pressure situations
-Skilled in administering emergency care, including CPR and trauma management
-Knowledgeable in OSHA regulations and local/state safety standards
-Proficient in medical record-keeping, safety documentation, and incident reporting
-Excellent communication skills for working closely with site workers and management
-Physically capable of lifting, assisting, and responding in emergency situations
-Calm, professional demeanor under stress and during emergency response scenarios
Certifications and licenses
-NREMT License (Preferred)
-UTAH EMT License (Required)
-BLS Certification

Compensation Transparency
We are providing the expected hourly range for this position. The hourly rate for this role is $24.00 - $26.00 depending on experience, qualifications, certifications, and site requirements. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as location, relevant experience, and the scope of the assigned project.
