What Makes This Role Special

Got a sharp eye for cars and love a fast-paced environment? Orlando Longwood Auto Auction needs a Fleet Distribution Manager! You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end distribution, flow, and operational execution of fleet and commercial vehicles consigned to Orlando Longwood Auto Auction. Also, you will ensure that vehicles move efficiently from intake through reconditioning, sale, and post-sale processing while meeting client service expectations, auction timelines, and profitability goals.

Your Day-to-Day Adventures

  • Manage the daily flow of fleet and commercial vehicles from arrival through auction and post-sale release
  • Coordinate vehicle allocation across auction lanes, sales channels, and sale dates to optimize volume, exposure, and performance
  • Ensure timely movement of vehicles through inspections, condition reporting, reconditioning, imaging, and staging
  • Monitor vehicle ageing and implement strategies to reduce day-to-sales and improve inventory turnover
  • Ensure fleet vehicles meet auction standards, client requirements, and sale-ready deadlines
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction
  • Work closely with fleet account managers to support client expectations and service-level agreements
  • Communicate vehicle status, distribution plans, and operational updates to internal stakeholders and clients as needed
  • Coordinate with transportation providers, reconditioning vendors, and third-party service partners

What We're Looking For (The Must-Haves)

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3–5 years of experience in fleet operations, vehicle logistics, auto auction operations, or commercial vehicle distribution.
  • Strong understanding of fleet vehicle lifecycle, from intake to sale and post-sale release.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume inventory and coordinate across multiple departments
  • Ability to work independently, manage schedules, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Preferred

  • Experience in the auto auction environment, preferred.
  • Familiarity with auction platforms and inventory systems (e.g. Auction Edge, AutoIMS, etc.).
  • Knowledge of automotive compliance and regulatory requirements

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, with Friday auction day support (weekends are yours!)
