PATIENT ACCESS LEAD at Burnett Medical Center Inc – Grantsburg, Wisconsin

Burnett Medical Center is looking for a Patient Access Lead.

SHIFT & HOURS: Full-time days, M-F, 8am-4:30pm

DUTIES: This position would oversee the daily operations of the Patient Access Department, ensuring smooth and efficient registration, scheduling, insurance verification workflows, and billing processes. Ensures compliance with Burnett Medical Center's policies, CMS regulations, and best practices in patient access services. Ensures quality control and customer service excellence.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Patient Access or related role preferred.
• Strong understanding of registration, scheduling, and insurance verification.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third party payer regulations. Knowledge of billing regulations and processes.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with EPIC EHR preferred.
