Tax Manager - Charlotte, NC
Who: An experienced tax professional with 5+ years of public accounting experience and a CPA.

Position Overview:
The Tax Manager in the High Net Worth practice oversees tax planning and compliance for individuals and trusts, while managing staff assignments, reviewing work, and ensuring accuracy and adherence to tax regulations. This role involves engagement management, team leadership, business development, and providing creative solutions to complex tax matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tax planning and compliance services for high-net-worth individuals and related trusts.
-Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with clients.
- Identify tax issues and recommend innovative solutions to complex matters.
- Manage client engagements to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Grow a strong professional network to support business development efforts.
- Hold yourself and your team accountable for business development goals.
- Recruit, mentor, and motivate team members.
- Foster collaboration and encourage team members to seek input and share ideas.
- Promote a culture of engagement, inclusion, and accountability aligned with firm values.
- Set and achieve stretch goals to increase your contribution to the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s in Tax preferred.
- 5+ years of recent public accounting experience managing multiple HNW tax engagements.
- CPA certification required.
- Strong multitasking, leadership, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and networking abilities.
- Proven ability to manage and grow client relationships.
- Experience working with tax software and modern tax technology tools.
