About This Position
Tax Manager (Generalist)
Who: A confidential, nationally respected public accounting firm seeking an experienced and growth-oriented tax professional.
What: Manage and review complex tax engagements, provide tax consulting, and support staff development across a diverse client base.
When: Immediate full-time opening.
Where: Hybrid role based in the Atlanta metro area with partial remote flexibility.

Position Overview:
The Tax Manager (Generalist) will oversee complex tax compliance and consulting engagements, guide staff, deliver exceptional client service, and contribute to the continued growth of the tax practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review complex tax returns and ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Delegate and oversee tax preparation and research tasks.
- Prepare complex business income tax returns.
- Provide tax planning, consulting, and financial projections.
- Manage client relationships and service delivery.
- Mentor and develop tax staff members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; Master’s in taxation preferred.
- Active CPA license required.
- 4–7 years of public accounting experience.
- Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with tax workflow software preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and strong professional ambition.
