ATHLETIC TRAINER - ALLIANCE HI at Aultman Health Foundation – ALLIANCE, Ohio

BASIC FUNCTION:

1. The Athletic Trainer, Certified, provides the following functions regarding athletic injuries: prevention, assessment, treatment, (including first aid) and reconditioning as set forth by the Athletic Trainer’s Board of Certification and Ohio Athletic Training laws. The Athletic Trainer follows Athletic Training procedures as established by the Standard Operating Procedure.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

1. Minimum of bachelor’s degree in health-related field, with current Athletic Trainer’s Board of Certification
2. Currently licensed as an Athletic Trainer by the State of Ohio.
3. American Heart Association (AHA) training in Basic Life Support (BLS) utilizing Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) required
4. Must be computer-literate to complete task(s) as required.
5. If acting Liaison – Must have a Doctorate.
