Remote Vice President of Technology

This critical role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive technology strategy for clinical trial operations. The Vice President will integrate various clinical systems to enhance efficiency and innovation, ensuring the technology infrastructure aligns with strategic goals. This leader will serve as a key representative for technology within the organization, focusing on data flow and functional updates to optimize service delivery outcomes.
Accountabilities- Develop and implement a multi-year technology roadmap in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Oversee management and optimization of critical technology systems, including clinical trial and electronic data capture systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data entry and integration across clinical systems.
- Maintain compliance with data privacy and security requirements in adherence to industry standards.
- Co-lead integration efforts across Operations and Technology departments to streamline processes and tech solutions.
- Monitor IT systems performance and manage vendor relationships to drive improvements.
- Evaluate costs and risks of IT investments to advise on technology decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required.
- 10+ years of IT leadership experience in healthcare or clinical research.
- In-depth knowledge of clinical systems and cloud-based applications.
- Strong expertise in strategic planning and tech roadmap development.
- Experience with large organizations and understanding of emerging technologies and regulations.
- Excellent communication and team management skills.
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
