The Director, Dealer Relations will oversee a high-performing team focused on strengthening dealer partnerships, expanding revenue opportunities, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction. Acting as both a strategic leader and hands-on coach, this role drives retention, upselling, and product adoption across a dynamic regional portfolio. The position requires strong analytical thinking to interpret territory performance and identify growth opportunities through customer insights. It also plays a key role in shaping product rollouts, training strategies, and service enhancements that elevate dealer engagement. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, the Director ensures alignment across sales, product, and operations while championing customer value and business impact.

Accountabilities:

Lead dealer relationship strategy and retention efforts while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, engagement, and long-term revenue growth.
• Oversee account management and revenue expansion initiatives, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities within dealer networks
• Develop and execute territory strategies using data analytics to uncover growth opportunities and improve customer outcomes
• Guide product implementation, training, and adoption efforts to ensure successful rollouts and sustained usage
• Mentor and develop Dealer Relations Managers, fostering accountability, performance excellence, and continuous improvement
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Operations to align customer strategies with business objectives
• Manage escalations, ensure SLA adherence, and maintain operational efficiency across regional activities
• Drive customer advocacy efforts through account reviews, presentations, and industry networking to expand business opportunities

Requirements:

Experienced leader with a strong background in automotive sales, customer success, or marketing, ideally with 5+ years of industry experience and prior team management responsibilities.
• Proven ability to lead field or regional teams and drive performance through coaching and accountability
• Strong consultative sales mindset with experience building long-term client relationships and negotiating win-win outcomes
• Analytical skills with the ability to leverage data, CRM systems, and AI-enabled tools to guide decisions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence both internal stakeholders and external clients
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Experience collaborating across sales, product, and operations teams to deliver customer-centric solutions
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region and nationally as required
