Project Engineer at OnQGlobal Inc – Clarksville, Tennessee

Role Overview

We’re supporting a large-scale data center construction project in Tennessee and are looking to bring on a Project Engineer to support day-to-day execution across the build. This position sits at the center of day-to-day operations, helping coordinate between field teams, project management, and subcontractors to ensure work is progressing safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

You’ll be involved in both office and field activities from managing project documentation, tracking progress, and helping resolve issues as they arise. This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment where strong communication, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset are critical to keeping the project moving forward.

Responsibilities

• Support the project team with day-to-day coordination and execution activities
• Manage and track RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
• Assist with schedule tracking and progress updates
• Coordinate with General Contractor, subcontractors, and engineering teams
• Help ensure timely delivery of materials and alignment with project milestones
• Support change management and project reporting
• Assist in preparing and maintaining project logs, reports, and documentation
• Work closely with field teams to ensure clear communication and issue resolution

• 5+ years of experience in construction as a Project Engineer, APM, Field Engineer, or similar
• Exposure to commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Comfortable working onsite and supporting both office and field teams

Nice to Have:

• Experience on data center or MEP-heavy projects
• Familiarity with tools like Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
