Job Title: Web Applications Programmer
Location: 100% On-site
Job Type: Contract- Long-term contract role (multi-year engagement)

Overview
Responsible for the maintenance, support, and development of web-based applications for the Florida Department of Health's Medical Quality Assurance systems. Focused on building scalable .NET solutions, improving system functionality, and ensuring secure, high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop web applications using modern .NET technologies and best practices
• Analyze requirements and implement system enhancements, updates, and bug fixes
• Modify and create application and database code based on assigned work tickets
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions
• Maintain and update technical documentation for all development activities
• Ensure compliance with data security and confidentiality standards
• Collaborate with teams using Agile/SCRUM methodologies

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, MVC, and Web API
• Proficiency in SQL Server and Oracle databases, including stored procedures
• Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and Bootstrap
• Familiarity with Entity Framework
• Experience with Azure cloud development
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and Git version control
• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments
• Background in web services development

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Versa Regulation and Versa Online systems
• Prior work in government or healthcare IT environments

Key Deliverables

• Ongoing development and maintenance of web applications
• Monthly delivery of programming services and system improvements
• Documentation of system updates and enhancements
