Staff Accountant at Allient Incorporated – OSHKOSH, Wisconsin

Allient Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Oshkosh, Wisconsin! The Staff Accountant will be responsible for accurately maintaining assigned general ledger accounts to ensure financial statements are in accordance with GAAP, under the general supervision of the Controller. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare journal entries with corresponding account analysis for month end closing.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations as assigned.
• Review financial statements for accuracy and GAAP compliance.
• Audit and reconcile monthly bank and credit card statements.
• Assist in updating financial statements and reports.
• Prepare and distribute daily cash reports as needed.
• Assist in annual financial budgeting process.
• Prepare financial reports requested by external parties.
• Compile data for annual sales and use tax reporting
• Learn accounts payable/receivable processes to back up position as needed.
• Learn Cost Accounting Analyst processes to back up position as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field, including knowledge of GAAP.
• Quality, accuracy, timeliness and thoroughness of work performed.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively and develop good working relationships with others.
• Ability to respond to multiple priorities within established deadlines required.
• Experience with an ERP system desired.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
