Position Summary
The Corporate Paralegal provides legal and administrative support executive leadership, with a primary focus on tracking and maintaining records related to contracts, legal matters, filings, regulatory requirements, and cases, the Corporate Paralegal coordinates and maintains the company’s legal resources and records.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with ITAR, DFAR, and any other relevant laws & regulations or company policies.
• Assist in the preparation, review, and management of corporate documents, including contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence.
• Maintain corporate legal records.
• Compiling and analyzing data, creating reports or putting together information or status updates for executive leadership.
• Manage domestic and international entity registrations, qualifications, and annual filings.
• Track and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Conduct legal research on corporate, regulatory, and compliance matters.
• Assist with contract lifecycle management, including drafting, editing, tracking, and archiving agreements.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external counsel on legal matters and projects.
• Support due diligence activities on business activities and projects.
• Maintain legal databases and document management systems.
• Monitoring and reporting on the company’s legal expenses.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
• Other projects and work as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
• Candidates must be ITAR Authorized US Persons.
• Must be lawfully permitted and comfortable working in facilities that handle firearms and munitions.
• This position reports onsite in Tampa (this is not remote or hybrid).
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
• Paralegal certification (e.g., NALA or NFPA) preferred.
• 3–7+ years of corporate paralegal experience, preferably in-house or in a corporate law firm.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance, entity management, and contract administration.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and filings.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software (e.g., contract lifecycle management tools).
• High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Occasional extended hours, supporting the company at events and conferences or in legal proceedings.
Work Environment
This role supports a hands-on engineering program and requires collaboration across multiple disciplines and facilities. Occasional travel to manufacturing sites and Government test locations may be required.
