Service Advisor at Preferred Automotive Group LLC – Grand Haven, Michigan

Compensation: $50,000–$65,000 annually (base salary + performance-based commission)

We are seeking an experienced Service Writer / Service Advisor to oversee daily operations within a high-volume automotive service department. This role combines hands-on service writing with leadership responsibility and operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate a team of approximately five technicians

• Write and manage repair orders, estimates, and approvals

• Maintain steady workflow and prioritize jobs to meet production goals

• Communicate effectively with internal partners regarding repair status

• Monitor productivity, quality standards, and turnaround times

• Support continuous improvement within the department

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Service Writer / Service Advisor

• Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Automotive repair knowledge required

• Comfortable in a production-driven environment
