Description: HTI is seeking an experienced PLC Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) for a world-class manufacturing facility with Robert Bosch Tool Corporation. This position will focus on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving automated production equipment, robotic systems, and CNC machinery to ensure safe and efficient operations. This position is Direct Hire, M-F 2nd shift (2:15 PM – 10:30PM. The pay range is $30 - $37/hr ($1.50/hr shift premium) depending on experience. Overtime Eligible.

What You Need:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment
- High School Diploma/GED (Technical degree or certification preferred)
- Experience with PLCs, CNC Controls, Robots, HMIs, and servo systems
- Working knowledge of electrical schematics, blueprints, and control documentation
- Understanding of machine communications, LAN components, and communication cabling
- Qualified to safely work in electrical panels up to 480V (demonstration required)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with SAP or other maintenance work order systems
- Completion of robot training programs (Fanuc, Denso, etc.) is a strong plus
What Your Role Will Look Like:
The PLC Maintenance Technician will play a key role in ensuring optimal machine uptime, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install automatic, robotic, and CNC machinery
- Diagnose and resolve electrical/electronic issues; perform component replacements and adjustments
- Perform PLC programming, modifications, and HMI updates as needed
- Jog, reset, and teach Fanuc and Denso robots to correct material handling paths
- Plan, install, and maintain primary and secondary controls for automated systems
- Create and update wiring diagrams to record system and control changes
- Perform mechanical repairs as necessary to support uptime and product quality
- Enter all completed and in-progress work into the SAP work order system
- Participate in daily continuous improvement and preventative maintenance activities
- Follow all company safety procedures and use required PPE at all times
