Registered Nurse at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

WKH is looking for an RN to work at a busy internal medicine in Bossier. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate strong work ethics, critical thinking and organizational skills. Attention to detail, flexibility, dependability and being able to communicate with patients, family and physicians are desired. The RN will need to be familiar with traging, medications, answering/ returning phone calls. Calling in prescriptions and administering medications. Will need to assist with clinical procedures, EKG's, scheduling of lab and X-rays. Will work closely with insurance companies on referrals and preauthorizations. Hospital and departmental orientation will be provided upon completion of the hiring process, along with training on our enterprise-wide management system. You will be required to work Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00pm. An excellent benefit package is offered.
