Key responsibilities include:

• Strips and washes soiled servers, pots, dishes, trays and other cooking utensils
• Cleaning the Kitchen or cafeteria area and keeping it tidy
• Replenishing food items for breakfast, lunch and dinner
• Assisting with the transporting of food trolley
• Lifting and carrying heavy pots and pans
• Performing general overall cleaning of kitchen and Cafeteria
• Places food stuff and supplies in appropriate areas
• Operates dish machine if required
• Performing any other duties that may be required related to servicing the needs of the Kitchen & Cafeteria

Qualifications &/ Registration required:

• High School Certificate or GED required
• Previous experience in a kitchen porter's work essential
• Must be able to understand oral & written instructions

Schedule: On an as needed basis

Shift: Will be required to work all shifts: 5:30pm–8:30pm, 8:00am – 4:00pm, and 9:00am-5:00pm. Possible schedule could be as follows: 7:15am–7:15pm, 6:00am–2:00pm, 12:00pm–8:00pm, 5:30pm – 8:30pm and 5:00pm–8:00pm. You will be scheduled as needed for the efficient management of operations.

Salary Grade: BI97 $31.4277 per hour
