Siegfried Rivera has an immediate opening for an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant with 5+ years of litigation experience in complex cases. The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, perform well under strict deadlines, and possess strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and ensure precise and timely task completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to two or more lawyers.
• Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls when appropriate.
• Maintain regular communication with supervising attorneys.
• File maintenance involving; keeping all calendar items current, notes up to date, and files in the proper order.
• Case Management
• Monitor calendars: Ensuring all items are current and up to date.
• Draft pleadings, monitor and obtain discovery responses, and organize materials for team review to support case preparation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a litigation legal assistant.
• Commercial or construction litigation experience is preferred.
• Must know state, federal, and complex business court rules.
• Must have keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
• Experience with PerfectLaw is a plus.
• Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Plaintiff experience in complex cases.
• Knowledge of state and federal court procedures.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Construction law: 4 years (Preferred)
• Litigation Assistant: 3 years (Required)
