JOB SUMMARY

• Patient Care Techs provide personal care, health-related services, and assist with activities of daily living. Patient Care Techs function under the direction, instruction, and supervision of nursing staff. Patient Care Techs have a professional obligation to participate in committee activities, surveys, improvement initiatives, and continuing education.

• BLS - should not initiate patient contact until completed.
