STATUS: Exempt / Salary | DEPARTMENT: Engineering | HOURS: Monday – Friday, average of 40-45 hours per week |
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to: Director of Project Engineering
Supervise: N/A
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The primary function of this position is to provide overall technical information and support on projects that are assigned throughout the duration of the project. This includes project management of all RELCO scope.
AUTHORITY & ACCOUNTABILITY
- Authority to research and obtain internal or external assistance in designing systems. This includes communication directly with the customer, vendors, other engineers, etc.
- Authority to design systems and specify components within their expertise areas to meet project specifications.
- Authority to approve for purchase, any items for projects assigned.
- Authority to alter or halt the progress of assigned projects with just cause and according to company policy.
- Authority to approve process design changes that do not affect overall process operation in projects assigned.
- Authority to accept change-orders and secure additional work in accordance with company policy.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Education: Two-year Associates/Technical degree or relevant work experience
- Experience: Ten years of experience working in similar working capacity
- Knowledge: Excellent organizational skills
