About the role:
Around 5 years of experience as a product backend or full-stack engineer. Experience working closely with users is a must. This is not an infrastructure role. We are looking for a product engineer, those that write application code.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a generalist, collaborating with frontend engineers on systems design and user-facing features.
• Build data structures, prompts, and infrastructure to broaden and enhance how Foam collects diagnostic data.
• Work with the team to architect services.

Must-have:

• 5+ years as a backend/full-stack engineer.
• Familiarity with microservices and comfortable with systems design.
• Experience using AI coding tools.

Nice-to-have:

• Startup experience or tenure at a competitive company.
• Has built LLM applications such as chatbots.
