Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Controller with a strong background in accounting and finance, specifically with QuickBooks experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and providing strategic financial insights to support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial state, and local financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support decision-making.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance financial accuracy.
• Collaborate with department heads to analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, CPA or CMA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is required; experience with other accounting software is a plus
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
