Significance immediately needs an Operational Planner (Senior) to provide strategic and operational planning support to MCICOMs Deliberate Plans Section. The Operational Planner will conduct detailed reviews and assessments of MCICOMs strategic capabilities and their alignment with Marine Corps operational requirements and priorities.
Key Responsibilities:This position involves developing and implementing organizational strategies for Marine Corps installations, including Installation Next (I-Next) and Force Design (FD) planning. The Operational Planner will support the development of an organizational strategy, mission, vision, values, and critical objectives to optimize infrastructure, services, and risk mitigation efforts to support FMF readiness.Responsibilities include conducting policy reviews and proposing updates to installation planning directives, supporting fiscal and budgetary execution for Future Year Defense Program (FYDP) resource requirements, and developing strategic plans such as the Installation Plan (IPLAN) and Installation and Logistics Campaign Plan. The Operational Planner will also provide conference planning and meeting support for inter-agency conferences, symposia, and workshops.

Required and Desired Skills
- Bachelors degree in engineering, community planning, facility management, or a related field.
- Over ten years of experience as an analyst or program manager at the Service Component Headquarters or DoD level.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Prior experience working with military-based programs.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Prior military experience.
- Secret Clearance
