About This Position

Position Overview:

The Facilities Technician is responsible for ensuring the Ewing Campus is well-maintained, clean, and operationally excellent. This role includes building and grounds maintenance, custodial functions, asset management, and event setup and breakdown. The Facilities Technician will support the Facilities Director and Campus Pastor in implementing the Lead Pastor's vision for the facility, ensuring a breathtaking environment at all times.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Serve in excellence by being early and prepared for all scheduled meetings.
  • Establish and foster an exemplary relationship with staff/non-staff workers, church membership, and the community at large.
  • Demonstrate a servant's heart by having a willingness to perform other duties as needs may arise.
Building & Grounds Maintenance
  • Perform general facility maintenance, including painting, patching, and minor repairs.
  • Conduct weekly preventative maintenance inspections and address any necessary repairs promptly.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility, ensuring all areas are clean, sanitized, and visually appealing..
  • Ensure the building and grounds are well-kept, including landscaping and outdoor maintenance.
Operational Support & Asset Management
  • Manage facility-wide setups and breakdowns for meetings, filming, services, and events.
  • Organize, load, and unload onsite and offsite storage to maintain an orderly and efficient system.
  • Assist in managing church assets, including vehicles, properties, equipment, and golf carts.
  • Ensure facility rentals and special usage requests are handled with excellence and proper setup.
  • Provide weekly/monthly facility operations reports to leadership.
Collaboration & Execution
  • Work closely with the Facilities Director and Campus to execute projects and facility improvements.
  • Support vision implementation for facility usage, ensuring the campus remains a welcoming, functional, and inspiring environment.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures for facility maintenance and operations.
Other Duties
  • Assist in emergency maintenance issues as needed.
  • Complete work orders efficiently and address maintenance concerns in a timely manner.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership.
