Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead Production Department personnel
• Monitor manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation
• Ensure adherence to work instructions, operating procedures, and reporting requirements
• Direct equipment startups, shutdowns, and process adjustments
• Oversee product loading and raw material (oil/feedstock) unloading during off-hours
• Manage off-spec material handling, reprocessing, and contamination prevention
• Ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality standards
• Support plant quality systems and continuous improvement efforts
• Assist in managing feedstock inventory and process efficiency
• Provide leadership across all plant functions during nights, weekends, and holidays
• Train, coach, and develop employees
• Enforce company policies and operational standards
• Lead safety initiatives, conduct regular safety meetings, and correct unsafe conditions
• Monitor environmental conditions and respond to emissions or compliance concerns
• Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a safe and organized facility

Required Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred
• 3-5 years of Manufacturing experience preferred
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Proficiency with PC systems and standard software applications
