Position Summary
The Activities Aide plays an essential role in providing fun, stimulating, and therapeutic programs that support the physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in group and one-on-one activities such as bingo, golf cart rides around our scenic property, yoga/exercise or open gym, crafts, bowling, choir, and much more
- Assist with creating and carrying out weekly and monthly activity calendars
- Support holiday celebrations, special events, and outings
- Motivate residents to participate, adapting activities to various abilities
- Collaborate with the Activities Coordinator and Personal Care staff
- Assist with serving meals and snacks
- Document resident participation and feedback

Qualifications
- Experience with seniors or assisted living (preferred, but will train the right person)
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and compassionate personality
- Music talents such as singing, playing instruments, dancing, etc. preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently when needed
- Day shift availability, including some weekends/holidays
- Physical ability to assist with setup and lift up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent
