Volleyball Coach (2026 Season) at UNIVERSITY BAPTIST CHURCH OF JACKSONVILLE – Jacksonville, Florida

University Christian School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Volleyball Coach who is passionate about developing student-athletes both on and off the court. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, sound knowledge of volleyball fundamentals, and a commitment to mentoring students in a Christ-centered environment.

• Plan and lead practices focused on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
• Coach and manage games, including strategy, player development, and substitutions
• Foster a positive, disciplined, and encouraging team culture
• Model Christian character and values in leadership and communication
• Maintain clear communication with athletes, parents, and athletic staff
• Ensure athlete safety and compliance with school and league policies
• Assist with player evaluations, conditioning, and skill progression
• Represent University Christian School with professionalism at all events
  

• Previous volleyball coaching experience preferred (school or club level)
• Knowledge of volleyball rules, techniques, and game strategy
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to mentor and motivate student-athletes
• Willingness to support the mission and values of University Christian School
• Required background screening and compliance with school policies
  

• Prior experience coaching middle school or high school athletes
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
