  • Drive modernization of legacy systems into a scalable Azure-based data ecosystem using services such as Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, and Data Factory.
  • Oversee development of ETL/ELT pipelines integrating data from multiple enterprise systems including CRM, ERP, clinical, and financial platforms.
  • Ensure data pipelines support both batch and real-time processing requirements with high reliability and automation.
  • Partner with Data Governance teams to ensure data quality, lineage, metadata management, and compliance standards are embedded in architecture.
  • Drive performance optimization of data platforms, including query efficiency, storage design, and processing scalability.
  • Collaborate with analytics, finance, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Ensure data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance, including HIPAA and other applicable standards.
  • Optimize cloud resource usage to balance performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related fields, including progressive leadership responsibility.
  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale data architectures and data models.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure data ecosystem tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python or similar programming languages.
  • Experience building scalable, cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures (data lake, warehouse, lakehouse, semantic layers).
  • Deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and large-scale data processing.
  • Experience working in regulated environments such as healthcare or specialty pharmacy is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence executive-level decisions.
  • Ability to align technical strategy with business needs and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package aligned with senior leadership roles.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match.
  • Paid time off and flexible leave policies, including parental leave options.
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options.
  • Company-paid disability and basic life insurance coverage.
  • Education assistance and professional development programs.
  • Inclusive, people-first culture focused on innovation, diversity, and collaboration.
  • Opportunity to lead enterprise-wide data transformation initiatives in a high-impact environment.
