This role is a key technical position responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing modern hybrid IT and cloud infrastructure across global environments. You will ensure the stability and performance of systems spanning Windows, Linux, virtualization platforms, and multi-cloud ecosystems including Azure, GCP, and Microsoft 365. The position combines hands-on system administration with automation, monitoring, and operational support in a fast-paced, international setting. You will play a critical role in improving infrastructure reliability, enabling scalability, and supporting business continuity. The role also involves incident management, process improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance system efficiency. - Manage and maintain server infrastructure across Windows Server, GNU/Linux, and virtualized environments including Hyper-V.
- Ensure systems, applications, and services remain secure, up-to-date, and highly available across production environments.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and Bash to streamline operational tasks and workflows.
- Administer and support cloud environments including Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft 365.
- Operate monitoring and alerting systems, analyze incidents, and respond to infrastructure events proactively.
- Provide L1–L3 technical support through ticketing systems, ensuring timely resolution of operational issues.
- Support incident, change, and problem management processes within IT service operations.
- Manage containerized environments using Docker, LXC, Swarm, and Kubernetes technologies.
- Oversee backup operations (including Veeam) and ensure reliable system restore readiness.
- Support device and endpoint management across the organization, ensuring operational consistency and security.
- 3+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator in enterprise or cloud environments.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, GNU/Linux, networking fundamentals, and virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience or strong willingness to deepen expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, CheckMK).
- Experience working with IT support processes, ticketing systems, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong understanding of backup strategies, system recovery, and operational governance.
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
- Good to have: experience with endpoint management (Intune, ManageEngine, or similar MDM tools).
