This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Phlebotomy Quality Manager in United States.

This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of clinical quality, compliance, and patient safety across a nationwide mobile phlebotomy network. You will act as the key authority on phlebotomy quality, driving initiatives that reduce errors, improve redraw rates, and strengthen overall diagnostic reliability. The position combines hands-on clinical expertise with data-driven quality management, requiring strong analytical thinking and operational leadership. You will collaborate closely with operations, leadership teams, and external laboratory partners to maintain regulatory compliance and elevate care standards. The environment is fast-paced, mission-driven, and highly collaborative, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation in at-home diagnostics. This is a high-impact role where your work directly influences patient outcomes and operational excellence at scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality assurance programs, SOPs, and clinical processes aligned with regulatory standards such as CLIA, CAP, and CLSI.
  • Lead root cause analyses for phlebotomy errors and oversee corrective action plans, ensuring timely resolution and effectiveness checks.
  • Monitor clinical quality metrics, including redraw rates, error trends, and operational KPIs, ensuring targets (≤1% redraw rate) are consistently met.
  • Manage internal and external audits, regulatory compliance requirements, and partner-facing quality responses.
  • Identify high-risk procedures and proactively implement preventive measures during onboarding and operational workflows.
  • Design and deliver training programs, retraining sessions, and continuing education initiatives based on performance trends and audit findings.
  • Analyze quality data and present actionable insights, reports, and recommendations to operations and executive leadership.
  • Partner with operations leaders to drive cross-functional quality improvements and promote a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external diagnostic laboratory partners.
  • Lead quality review meetings and contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Management, ideally in clinical, laboratory, or mobile phlebotomy environments.
  • 5+ years of hands-on phlebotomy experience in clinical settings.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or people management experience.
  • Active phlebotomy certification (AMT, ASCP, or NCCT required).
  • Strong understanding of CLSI guidelines and CLIA/CAP regulatory standards.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and translate insights into operational improvements.
  • Experience developing SOPs, policies, and structured clinical documentation.
  • Strong coaching, training, and team development capabilities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across clinical, operational, and leadership teams.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of $80,000 – $90,000 annually.
  • Stock option plan offering long-term equity participation.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage (U.S.-based employees).
  • Flexible and unlimited PTO policy.
  • Opportunity to work in a mission-driven organization expanding access to at-home diagnostics nationwide.
  • Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a high-performing team.
  • Strong focus on professional growth, leadership development, and continuous learning.
  • Equal opportunity workplace committed to diversity, inclusion, and fair hiring practices.
