This is a senior finance leadership role responsible for driving strategic financial planning and performance management across high-growth transportation and factoring businesses. You will act as a key partner to executive leadership, shaping budgetary direction, forecasting processes, and long-range financial strategy. The role combines deep analytical rigor with strong business influence, requiring close collaboration with general managers and cross-functional stakeholders. You will oversee full P&L ownership while building scalable FP&A frameworks that improve visibility, accountability, and decision-making quality. A core part of the position involves translating complex financial data into actionable insights that guide investment, pricing, and operational decisions. This is a high-impact role within a global, matrixed environment where finance plays a central role in business transformation and growth.
- Lead end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and executive expectations.
- Own P&L performance tracking, delivering accurate insights on financial results against budgets, forecasts, and key business targets.
- Partner closely with business unit leaders to influence strategic and operational decision-making through financial analysis and insights.
- Develop and enhance financial models, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks to improve visibility into business performance.
- Drive financial evaluation of marketing and investment initiatives, ensuring alignment with return expectations and business outcomes.
- Oversee month-end close processes for assigned business units, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with reporting standards.
- Lead deal analysis, pricing governance, and financial oversight to support sustainable profitability and risk management.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance FP&A efficiency and scalability.
- Provide macroeconomic and market insights to support long-term strategic planning and business forecasting.
- Lead and develop a high-performing FP&A team, fostering coaching, succession planning, and talent development.
- Collaborate with corporate FP&A and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on reporting standards and financial strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance roles, including at least 5 years in leadership positions.
- Strong experience in global, matrixed organizations, ideally within technology, payments, SaaS, or similar industries.
- Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams, including managers and senior analysts.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate data into business insights and recommendations.
- Advanced financial modeling and Excel capabilities, with experience in tools such as Anaplan, Oracle, Hyperion, Alteryx, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Demonstrated experience influencing executive stakeholders and supporting high-impact business decisions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts for senior leadership.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives such as system implementations, process redesigns, or financial transformation programs.
- Strong judgment, problem-solving ability, and comfort operating in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Competitive base salary ranging from approximately $174,800 to $201,400 USD.
