DROP/COUNT TEAM MEMBER


DEPARTMENT: Finance – Drop/Count Team EXEMPT (Y/N): No LICENSE LEVEL: Key


SALARY GRADE: G8 REPORTS TO: Drop/Count Team Supervisor

SUMMARY:

Responsible for handling Electronic Gaming Machine (EGM) Drops. Responsible for handling and processing EGM canisters received by the Drop/Count Team, emptying and counting the contents of the EGM canisters, and ensuring compliance with applicable Federal and State laws governing monetary transactions, and ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and controls.

Comply with all property and department policies, practices and procedures.

Contribute to a safe work environment, through compliance with established safety guidelines, identifying potential safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate person for proper resolution.

Maintain a professional departmental, company and community reputation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

 Maintain a thorough, working knowledge of company policies, procedures and controls.

 Open gaming machines, exchanges full canisters for empty canisters.

 Check gaming machines to make sure they are closed and secured.

 Transport drop cart to secured areas.

 Prepare appropriate documentation for Drop/Count Supervisor review.

 Required to work rotating schedules 7 days a week.

 Assist with drop zone security during the scheduled drop.

 Perform emergency drops, as needed.

 Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

 Ensure the integrity of all Count transactions.

 Assist in counting money and reconciling gaming revenue.

 Prepare various reports, including transfer sheets, reconcile all totals to the Master Summary; forward all information to appropriate individual(s).

 Maintain all records, reports and other required paperwork in the Soft Count Department.

 Assist in necessary research to effectively resolve Count disputes.

 Facilitate the flow of information, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.

 Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.

 Effective communication skills required. Must be extremely numbers-oriented, detail oriented and computer-literate.

 Check out sensitive keys from the electronic key system to access Drop carts, EGM canisters and gaming machines.

 At no time will any employee overlap duties on the drop or count for the day.

 Other duties as assigned may apply.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

 Must be able to submit supporting documents of education and training (High School Diploma, GED, Degree and Certificates) to support qualifications.

 Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license in good standing according to the licensing rules and regulations.

 Must be able to obtain and maintain in good standing a Driver’s License and qualify for Fleet Management

coverage on company vehicles.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

 High School diploma or (GED) required with some college courses in Accounting and Finance or related

area preferred (G8).

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong organizational skills required.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Employee is required to have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence, to speak effectively

before groups of customers or employees of the organization and read, analyze, and interpret basic instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and

decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply commonsense, and an understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram

form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables. Must be able to communicate effectively in person, while on the phone, while using intercom/microphone, and in writing.
