Early Childhood Education Specialist

Job Summary: The Early Childhood Education Specialist (ECES) is responsible for supporting and enhancing the quality of educational services provided in Head Start and Early Head Start classrooms. The ECES provides training, mentoring, and coaching to teaching staff, ensuring developmentally appropriate practices that align with the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework (ELOF), state standards, and agency goals.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is required with experience teaching young children. Master’s degree preferred.
• Must have knowledge of children and family systems and resources, and childcare licensing requirements.
• Minimum of 3 years of Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Experience in administering an infant/toddler program is preferred.
Compensation:$52,881 - $67,900 Based on education and experience.
