Job Responsibilities

Unload all incoming Shipments, perform visual and physical inspection of incoming and outgoing shipment for damages, record shortages, and correspond with vendor/courier, to rectify damages and shortages
Compare Bill of Lading and Packing Slip against actual merchandise received
Perform and execute functions relating to Raw Materials/Spare Parts preparation, staging and outbound shipments
Responsible for making sure all Raw Materials is pull by FEFO for outgoing shipments
Responsible for scheduling shipments, updating schedule, filing and organizing documents, verifying requisitions, shipping locations and seals
Create shipping documents, such as Bill of lading and Packing Slip
Direct movement of shipment to appropriate storage assign areas, to avoid personal injury, damage to equipment, material product, and facility, using Sit Down Fork lifts, or Manual Pallet Jacks
Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates
Prepare outgoing shipment, such as Freight, Ground, or International shipping
Ensuring Receiving follows all applicable Health and Safety Regulations and other company-related policies and procedures
Responsible for providing excellent customer service by assisting customer and co-workers with locating, selecting, and loading product.
Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
Train new or less experience Receiving Team Members
Report all safety or mechanical problems to management
Performs other essential job functions as assigned
