Responsibilities- Assemble, disassemble, and inspect propulsion motors and related components.
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on electric and hybrid propulsion systems.
- Conduct functional and performance tests using specialized test equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
- Document work performed in compliance with company and FAA standards.
- Maintain clean and safe work environments in accordance with ESD, FAA, and company policies.
- Support prototype builds, system integration, and flight testing preparation as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback from hands-on experience.
- Associate’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Technology, or equivalent technical training.
- 2+ years of experience in aviation maintenance or electric motor systems.
- Familiarity with propulsion motors (AC/DC, brushless, or PM motors) and drive systems.
- Knowledge of high-voltage safety practices and ESD procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation and technical specifications.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification.Experience with electric aircraft, drones, or eVTOL systems.Familiarity with AS9100 or aerospace quality standards.Experience with propulsion system instrumentation and data logging tools.
