You will leverage your deep background in forward deployment, support engineering, or similar technical leadership roles to guide others through 1:1 coaching engagements focused on leadership growth, communication, and decision-making. The environment is remote, global, and highly mission-driven, emphasizing personal development, emotional intelligence, and meaningful impact. You will work with senior professionals from fast-scaling tech organizations, helping them strengthen their leadership presence and effectiveness. Alongside coaching responsibilities, you will participate in structured training to refine and expand your coaching capabilities. This is a unique opportunity to translate extensive engineering leadership experience into a coaching practice that supports the next generation of technical leaders.
- Provide structured 1:1 coaching sessions to senior engineering leaders, focusing on leadership development, communication, prioritization, and career growth.
- Support members in defining goals, solving workplace challenges, and improving leadership effectiveness within complex technical organizations.
- Engage in ongoing coach training and development programs to refine coaching methodology and enhance impact.
- Maintain regular communication with coaching members between sessions via digital platforms to ensure continuity and progress.
- Contribute actively to the coaching community by sharing insights, tools, and best practices to improve overall coaching quality.
- Foster a supportive, empathetic, and psychologically safe environment that encourages reflection, growth, and vulnerability.
- Act as a role model for leadership excellence, emotional intelligence, and continuous learning within the coaching ecosystem.
- 15+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles such as forward deployment, support engineering, platform, infrastructure, security, or ML/AI organizations.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams in high-growth, fast-scaling, or complex technical environments.
- Strong track record of managing teams while maintaining technical credibility and driving execution through others.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through organizational change, hypergrowth, or startup-to-scale transitions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust at senior levels.
- High emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and a strong commitment to helping others grow professionally.
- Comfortable operating in dynamic, ambiguous, and evolving environments.
- Strong interest in coaching and developing others, with a growth mindset toward continuous improvement.
- Ability to commit to a long-term, part-time coaching engagement with consistent availability.
