This role sits at the intersection of digital innovation, philanthropy, and data-driven strategy, focused on shaping how digital fundraising evolves within a large, mission-driven healthcare environment. You will be responsible for defining and leading the overall digital fundraising strategy, ensuring that donor engagement, acquisition, and retention efforts are both innovative and aligned with organizational priorities. Acting as a key thought leader, you will evaluate emerging technologies, digital platforms, and fundraising tools to strengthen philanthropic impact. The position requires strong cross-functional collaboration across marketing, philanthropy, IT, compliance, and external partners. You will also play a critical role in transforming data and insights into actionable strategies that improve donor experiences and revenue growth. This is a high-impact leadership role where strategy, technology, and purpose-driven work converge.
- Lead the development and execution of the overall digital fundraising strategy, including donor acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue growth initiatives.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators, using data insights to continuously evaluate and optimize digital fundraising effectiveness.
- Conduct ongoing market and industry research to identify trends, benchmarks, and best practices in digital philanthropy and donor engagement.
- Evaluate, select, and manage digital fundraising technologies and platforms, including vendor partnerships and CRM-related tools.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across philanthropy, marketing, communications, IT, legal, finance, and compliance to ensure alignment and execution of initiatives.
- Oversee governance, compliance, privacy, and risk management related to digital fundraising operations, donor data, and third-party platforms.
- Support broader philanthropic initiatives through coordination of digital campaigns, events, grant applications, and donor communications.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, philanthropy, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, fundraising, donor relations, marketing, or sponsorship development.
- Proven experience designing and executing digital fundraising or digital engagement strategies in complex organizations.
- Strong understanding of digital fundraising platforms, CRM systems, donor engagement tools, and marketing technologies.
- Experience evaluating and managing external vendors, technology partners, and digital solutions.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders, including executives and external partners.
- Knowledge of compliance, privacy, and risk considerations in data-driven or donor-focused environments is highly valued.
