The Marketing Coordinator position reports to the Marketing and Business Development (BD) Manager and is responsible for achieving the strategic growth goals of the company through supporting marketing efforts, proposal development, branding, and implementation of marketing strategies.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to the following:

Proposal Support

  • Coordinate and assist with preparing sections for high-quality proposals and qualification packages
  • Maintain clear communication to ensure collaborative, efficient, accurate, and timely proposal components development
  • Lead proposal printing, packaging, and delivery to secure new contracts and projects
  • Ensure all proposal related deadlines are met while managing multiple projects, proposals, and other quick-turn requests
  • Maintain an internal library of updated project descriptions, resumes, and other materials for proposals

Brand Management

  • Support technical teams with tracking and registering EKI employees for upcoming conferences, abstract submittals, and other networking opportunities
  • Support conference attendees with logistics arrangements and reservations
  • Support technical teams with organizing corporate events - dinners, meets, etc.
  • Support the Human Resources (HR) department and technical teams with the development of marketing materials for career fairs
  • Assist with digital marketing and content creation, including the company website, LinkedIn, etc. to support company branding goals and online presence
  • Maintain internal branding and templates to ensure consistency, accuracy, and excellence in the company’s quality of deliverables
  • Support with maintaining the company’s culture through employee events, employee polls and outreach, charity donations, and other intra-company communication (e.g., Intranet)

Customer Relations

  • Support with coordinating industry events, conferences, webinars, and other networking opportunities to increase company visibility and strengthen client relationships
  • Maintain guests lists for corporate events and lead mass invitation/bulk email for event invitations
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to plan and organize corporate events

Business Development

  • Support efforts to identify new business opportunities in emerging markets and through new and existing client expansion and engagement

Internal Operations

  • Support the Marketing and BD Manager in the collection and evaluation of marketing/BD performance metrics
  • Support preparation of timely, concise, and accurate marketing data and reports to the Chief Operating Officer and technical staff to demonstrate marketing/BD strategy efficacy
  • Assist with the development of annual marketing plans and associated budgets for the marketing/BD department and practice areas
  • Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in marketing and business development
  • Experience in the environmental, engineering, or water resources fields preferred
  • Must have track record of successfully meeting proposal printing, production and delivery deadlines
  • Must have track record of successful marketing campaign coordination, brand awareness, lead generation, and proposal development support
  • Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Word Press, SharePoint, and Adobe Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign)
  • Must have strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Must have demonstrated reliability, dependability, flexibility, and strong business/personal ethics
  • Must demonstrate an aptitude in creative intuition and strategic thinking

  • Must have effective interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with staff vertically and horizontally within the company
  • Must have ability to multi-task, stay organized, work independently, and collaborate with various project teams
  • Must have a strong desire to grow personally as well as professionally
  • Must have a great attitude and eager to learn
  • Must have a current valid driver’s license

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with high-volume workload and frequent short deadlines
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs
  • Must be able to work remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Must be able to communicate with others to exchange information
  • Must be able to assess the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned
