The mission of the Finance Intern at Cozey
As a Finance Intern, you will support the Finance team with sales reporting and operational finance analysis, assist with accounts payable processes, and contribute to inventory valuation and month-end close activities. You’ll collaborate across teams to solve problems and improve reporting and workflows.
What you'll be doing
- Perform operational and financial analysis (costs and operational KPI).
- Support accounts payable tasks (invoice coding, vendor follow-ups, and reconciliations).
- Data entry and inventory valuation.
- Support month-end close, including analysis and preparation of journal entries.
- Assist with ad-hoc analyses and related tasks as needed.
What we're looking for
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritize effectively.
- Ability to think creatively, work independently, and collaborate through clear communication.
