Responsibilities:

• Apply strong oral and written communication skills to complete tasks such as technical writing and planning straightforward assignments.
• Assist in developing schematics and technical drawings.
• Use the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to prepare bills of materials (BOMs), job plans, identify spare parts, and perform other engineering-related tasks.
• Create and update engineering documentation to support construction and installation of current and future equipment.
• Utilize CMMS to schedule daily work, ensuring resources are available for preventive, predictive, and planned maintenance.
• Review assignments and resources to confirm repair schedules and performance goals are met, including maintenance and materials.
• Manage documentation such as work orders, change orders, and approvals required for planned work.
• Maintain accurate plant equipment records in CMMS and ensure all maintenance activities-planned and unplanned-are scheduled and tracked.
• Record labor hours, materials, notes, and procedural changes accurately, and close work orders promptly.
• Communicate with managers regarding required parts and inventory levels for scheduled work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities including inspections, instrument calibrations, preventive maintenance, validation assessments, and project workloads.

Required Qualification and Experience:

• Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
• Mechanical/Electric background is necessary. Apprenticeship program or technical school background is desirable
• Must be skillful in approaching internal clients to resolve issues and /or gain compliance with established policies
• Must be bilingual English/Spanish
• Possess desire to learn and be part of a dynamic team solving problems safely
• Must have adequate craft knowledge and skill to accurately estimate labor hours, material requirements and skills needed to complete a job
• Must have a demonstrated stability to visualize and communicate the execution of work
• Knowledgeable of maintenance processes and proper use of the work order system, planning and scheduling and storeroom processes
